We belong to the Mid-Atlantic Region of NATS, which includes four chapters South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland/Washington D.C. and Virginia. The Fall 2022 recipient of the Fran McMillan Pinson Collaborative Pianist Award is….Grace Berardo!
 
Grace Berardo is a collaborative pianist, vocal coach, and organist. She earned her Bachelor of Music from Berry College and her Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. While at UTK she held an accompanying assistantship where some of her duties included coaching and accompanying VolOpera and the University of Tennessee Opera Theatre. She also performed as a keyboardist for the University of Tennessee Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. 
 
As a freelance collaborator, Grace has frequently performed with collegiate and community musical theater productions, high school and professional choirs, and she has been a pianist for vocalists participating in both NATS and NATSAA competitions. Most recently she was engaged to perform Franz Schubert’s “Winterreise” with Marble City Opera and has had multiple performances featured on Knoxville’s local classical music station, 91.9 WUOT. 
 
Grace is currently the Choral and Vocal Accompanist at Clemson University.
